Abstracts :

  • ASPEN 2019 : Cadaver PUG (percutaneous ultrasound gastrostomy) studies with the PUMA-G System demonstrated a statistically significant improvement on procedure time against published literature values for PEG. Imagine saving ~15 minutes on every gastrostomy tube.
  • SCCM CU : An early proof-of-concept study demonstrated the viability of Coaptive Ultrasound as a promising new technology. Successful bench tests proved the ability to visualize a fluid-filled balloon held together using magnets.
  • PUMA-G 2018 : Late stage proof-of-concept cadaver work for the PUMA-G System demonstrates technical feasibility to perform PUG (percutaneous ultrasound gastrostomy). Abstract for SCCM 2018 presented data from 14 cadaveric procedures.
  • PUMA-T 2019 : The Coaptive Ultrasound technology has potential in other bedside procedures. This abstract describes the first cadaver experiment for the PUMA-T System, aimed at ultrasound-guided tracheostomies.
